On June 2, Yury Kazakov, Acting Rector of KNRTU signed an Agreement with the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) represented by Dr. Ruben Aghgashyan, Vice Rector for International Relations and Development Programs.

Prof. Aghgashyan came to Kazan to participate in the meeting of Erasmus+ Consortium members. He expressed his confidence that this meeting would be a good start for fruitful cooperation in future. Professor underlined that NPUA was one of the first Armenian universities participating in international projects (science 1994). ‘For more than 25 years we have gained experience, created and strengthened partner relations with Russian universities’, he said.

The parties agreed that this project would form a strong basis for bilateral cooperation between the universities.

Anna Ebel, Head of KNRTU International Affairs, emphasized that the Agreement would be the first step towards development of joint programs and major projects.
