On 28 December 2021, according to the voting results of CIS Network University participants, KNRTU entered CIS Network University Сonsortium.

The main goal of Consortium is to create a uniform educational space and develop interuniversity cooperation, joint educational programs, students and teachers academic mobility and intercultural communication.

At the moment, the Consortium includes 38 leading universities from 9 CIS member states: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine.

Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), which is the lead organization of the Consortium, expresses hope for further fruitful cooperation.
