The Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has determined the winners of youth scientific prizes and grants contest.
Among the grant winners is Aleksandr Isaev, a postgraduate student of Department of Vacuum Engineering, with his work of Two-rotor Vacuum Pump Efficiency Improvement.
“I got interested in science when I started working at the Vakuummash plant. As a young engineer, I was involved in developing of a high-tech oil-free spiral vacuum pump, which is an import-substitution project made together with KNRTU. After the successful completion of the project, I continued my PhD studies and now, under the guidance of my supervisor Aleksey Burmistrov, I pursue my scientific work: we are developing high-tech vacuum pumps” – says Aleksandr.
Aleksey Tyurin, an assistant of Department of Vacuum Engineering, won the prize with his work of Oil-free Spiral Vacuum Pumps Efficiency Improvement. Aleksey has been engaged in this research since 2014 at his Department, and since 2016 at JSC “Vakuummash”.
