KNRTU YOUNG SCIENTISTS BECAME THE WINNERS OF THE GRANT OF TATARSTAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

The Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has determined the winners of youth scientific prizes and grants contest.

Among the grant winners is Aleksandr Isaev, a postgraduate student of Department of Vacuum Engineering, with his work of Two-rotor Vacuum Pump Efficiency Improvement.

“I got interested in science when I started working at the Vakuummash plant. As a young engineer, I was involved in developing of a high-tech oil-free spiral vacuum pump, which is an import-substitution project made together with KNRTU. After the successful completion of the project, I continued my PhD studies and now, under the guidance of my supervisor Aleksey Burmistrov, I pursue my scientific work: we are developing high-tech vacuum pumps” – says Aleksandr.

Aleksey Tyurin, an assistant of Department of Vacuum Engineering, won the prize with his work of Oil-free Spiral Vacuum Pumps Efficiency Improvement. Aleksey has been engaged in this research since 2014 at his Department, and since 2016 at JSC “Vakuummash”.
