KNRTU TOOK PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL CO-WORKING SESSION OF THE PROJECT ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

On January 22, Lobachevsky University hosted the final international co-working session "Innovative Teaching Methods: Projects, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence" under the project "Humanities Teachers in Engineering Master's Degree: Triune Professional Development "Projects - Digitalization - Artificial Intelligence", which is supported by the Potanin Foundation.

Representatives of Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU), which implements this project, representatives of Lobachevsky University (UNN) and Ural State Agrarian University (USAU), who acted in this project as experts who conducted training for KNRTU teachers, took part in the final session held in online format. Also foreign partners were invited to participate in the session: Institute of Innovative Professions (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Toraighyrov University (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan). In total, the participants of the event were more than 100 representatives of different universities.

Prof. Dilbar Sultanova, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of KNRTU, in her speech told about the university's cooperation with the Potanin Foundation, and also drew attention to the importance of supporting projects related to the digitalization of the university's educational activities.

In his welcoming speech, Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs emphasized the importance of all components of the discussed project for both technical and classical universities, when training in natural and exact sciences is implemented simultaneously with training in the humanities.

The topic of digitalization and artificial intelligence was continued by Natalia Lomovtseva, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Digitalization of USAU, who emphasized the latest trends in the use of artificial intelligence capabilities in work with students.

Department of University Management and Innovation in Education and Constitutional and Municipal Law Department became the base departments of UNN within the framework of the project. Alexander Gorylev and Valeria Mariko, Associate professors of the Departments, acted as experts and shared with the audience information about the implementation of training of the project participants.

The project leader, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication of KNRTU Julia Ziyatdinova presented the content and objectives of the project. The results of mini-projects on innovations in the organization of training of engineering masters were reported by representatives of KNRTU: Associate Professor Alina Guzhova (online course "Professional-oriented foreign language" of the Department of Foreign Languages in Professional Communication), Associate Professor Svetlana Gadelshina (online course "Project management" of the Department of Innovation in Chemical Engineering, Associate Professor Elvira Valeeva (offline course "Social and psychological foundations of teamwork and self-development" of the Department of Social Work, Pedagogics and Psychology).

At the end of the international co-working session a discussion took place, during which the participants positively evaluated the results of the project and expressed interest in further cooperation.
