Historical Background

Kazan Technological College was established on the basis of Kazan Chemical Technological College, which, in its turn, was founded in 1939 on the basis of the technical courses at the factory named after Vladimir I. Lenin.

Galina A. Markova was the first Director of Kazan Chemical Technological College.

Since 2001 the College has been directed by Vladimir A. Sadofiev. There are 40 classrooms, a library with 62 thousand books, a reading room, a dining room, an assembly hall, sports halls, chemical laboratories, mechanical workshops in the college.

Over 500 students are trained in this college.

The College runs Vocational Degree Programs together with Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology in:

  • High Molecular Weight Compounds and High Technology Equipment.
  • Public Catering Technology.
  • Maintenance and Operation of Industrial Equipment.
  • Bread, Confectionery and Macaroni Products Technology.
  • Maintenance Service of Motor Transport.
  • Mechanical Engineering.

Vocational Guidance

Professors are engaged in vocational guidance. They meet parents and school graduates to discuss problems concerning entering the college.

The preparatory courses are organized at the college. The Open Doors Day is annually conducted in May. The teachers and the graduates tell the future prospective students about Vocational Degree programs at the college. The prospective students also get acquainted with the workshops, laboratories, educational rooms of the college, and technical creativity exhibition.
