On June 8 was announced that KNRTU entered the QS World University Rankings 2022 for the first time. The Ranking includes 1,673 universities, including 48 Russian universities.
Today KNRTU is included in both the leading global rankings: THE (since 2018) and QS. For several years the University has been participated in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
On June 9, a video conference between Moscow – Saint Petersburg – Tomsk – Vladivostok was held at the RIA "Russia Today" site. During this event, Dilbar Sultanova, KNRTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, was solemnly awarded with certificate of the QS World University Rankings participant.
KNRTU is one of two Tatarstan universities presented in the QS Ranking. Universities were estimated by following criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty – student ratio, international faculty and international students ratio, faculty staff with PhD, papers per faculty and citation per papers, web impact and international research network.
KNRTU took the 801-1000th place. According to the faculty – student ratio and international student ratio KNRTU is among the top 500 universities in the world (458th and 326th place respectively).
