Educational Technology & Society is a quarterly peer - reviewed electronic journal with free access via the Internet. Educational technologies and society (ISSN 1436-4522) is the official journal of the International Forum of Educational Technology & Society”. Founder and publisher: Kazan National Research Technological University. The English-language section of the journal was established in 1998. Russian-Language created in April 1, 2000. The journal publishes scientific articles of interest to developers of educational systems and teachers who are engaged in the implementation/use of such systems. The articles discuss the perspectives of these communities and/or their relationships with each other. The journal's ideology: many teachers are not fully aware of the benefits that can be derived from the use of advanced educational technologies and do not know how they can affect developers. Developers of educational systems and researchers in the field of artificial intelligence often do not know the needs and requirements of a typical teacher. The goal of the journal: help these groups better understand each other's role in all educational processes and show them ways to support each other. Both sections of the journal are in free access. English-language articles are indexed in the Thomson Scientific Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Russian-language articles are indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
