The Kyrgyzstan remote campus is the first foreign branch of KNRTU.

In 2010 it received a license for the right to implement three programs of higher professional education.
In 2011 the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation issued license for two bachelor degree programs:
18.03.01 Chemical Technology
38.03.02 Management

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic provided a 3,843 educational-laboratory building in Kant for free use.
The remote campus is working jointly with the representative office of KNRTU in the city of Kostanay to attract applicants from Kazakhstan.

Today the number of students is more than 100 people.

Both full-time and part-time tuition of bachelor degree programs are realized.

The Kyrgyzstan remote campus received all the necessary approvals and was included in the unified register of universities, whose students are granted deferment for military service in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The campus successfully passed the state accreditation of two major higher education programs in 2017.
