KNRTU entered the Round University Ranking 2020, prepared by the Russian Rating Agency RUR (Round University Ranking). KNRTU takes 688th position in the global list (37 points better than in 2019) and 42nd among Russian universities (an increase by 3 positions).

It should be noted, that the university managed to improve all four indicators: Financial Stability (+29 points), Quality of Research (+24 points), Quality of Teaching (+17 points) and Level of Internationalization (+2 points).

Universities in the RUR are evaluated by 20 parameters grouped into four areas of activity: theQuality of Teaching (40% value), theQuality of Research (40%), the Level of Internationalization (10% value), and the Level of Financial Stability (10%).

The rating is designed to help applicants choose a university to study at, and teachers – to find partners and platforms for international research projects.
