The government commission on sustainable development of the Russian economy has updated the list of the Country's Systemic Companies.

The list includes 7 organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan, among which KNRTU is represented in the Higher Education category. In total, the list for the region includes two universities: Kazan Federal University and Kazan National Research Technological University.
