KNRTU is one of the forty Russian universities that will be able to give a unique opportunity to the graduates: in 2021 they can present their own startup instead of defending a traditional diploma (thesis).

The Startup as a Thesis program was launched on the basis of Far Eastern Federal University back in 2017 and was recognized as prospective. This approach gives an opportunity to successful students to raise funding for their projects as quickly as possible. As a result, both educational and practical effects are achieved at the same time – straight from the university bench, graduates can test themselves in the field of entrepreneurship and attract investment to their projects. The startup must be in line with the education program, which the graduate studied at the university. Successful startup presentation will result in obtaining a diploma.

According to experts, this program brings higher education closer to the market needs and helps young people quickly find practical application of their knowledge. It is worth mentioning, that the university specialists are ready to continue supporting the graduates in their work on promising projects.
