The winners of the International Competition of Scientific, Scientific and Technical, Innovative Developments Aimed at the Development and Exploration of the Arctic and the Continental Shelf have been announced. Natalia Bashkirtseva – Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Petrochemistry, Head of the Department of Chemical Technology of Petroleum and Gas Processing is among the winners.
The project “Technology for the Production of Dispersants Based on Surfactants for Cleanup of Offshore Oil Spills” implemented under her lead won the third prize in the 2020 competition. The diploma signed by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak was presented to Natalia Bashkirtseva by the Acting Rector Yury Kazakov at an official ceremony of the Academic Council of KNRTU held on October 26.
As destructive environmental disasters associated with the oil, fuel and other technical fluids spills are becoming more frequent, the work of KNRTU scientists is of particular relevance and will certainly be in demand both in Russia and abroad. Congratulations to Natalia Bashkirtseva and her research team for their great success!
