The Special Session of the China Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) was held on November 9, 2020. KNRTU was presented at the conference by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Plasma Technology and Nanotechnology of High Molecular Weight Materials Albert Khubatkhuzin with the project on Formation of Nanodiffusion Layers on the Surface of a Metal-Cutting Tool.

The project aroused particular interest among Chinese colleagues from the Wuhan University of Science and Technology, who came up with an initiative for its further implementation. This event was a continuation of the scientific dialogue between Russian and Chinese scientists within the framework of the Week of Science and Technology of Russia in China (September 8-11, 2020), where Russian universities presented more than 250 scientific projects and educational programs. KNRTU presented a large-scale exposition with proposals from Russian organizations on the implementation of R&D together with the Chinese part.
