VISIT TO KYRGYZSTAN: NEW PERSPECTIVES IN COOPERATION

KNRTU delegates participated in the first international industrial Expo-Russia Kyrgyzstan 2022 exhibition, that was held from June 21 to 23 in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The exhibition was organized as part of Expo Eurasia - 2022 and the Bishkek Business Forum. Among the participants of the event there were ministries of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic, scientific and industrial research centers, higher schools of education, small and middle-sized enterprises, chambers of commerce and industry, social organizations.

In the framework of Expo-Russia Kyrgyzstan 2022 thematic round tables, presentations of Russian and Kyrgyz enterprises and educational institutions, as well as cultural events were held. Our university was represented by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dilbar Sultanova and Vice Rector for Security Airat Muratov.

The participants of the exhibition had an opportunity to meet with the representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan. Dilbar Sultanova and Airat Muratov met with the supervisor of the project on the promotion of Russian language and education Irina Tsareva. They discussed the perspectives of a mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly the possibilities of the Kyrgyz students enrollment in the framework of government scholarship program and their employment at Gazprom Kyrgyzstan enterprises. One of the key events on the forum agenda was the international scientific and practical conference “Universities are the new centers of education, business and diplomacy”. The conference participants were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Rasul Abazbek uulu, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Karel Rice and Rector of the Kyrgyz Economic University Almaz Kadyraliev. The Vice-Rector of KNRTU made a report on prospects for cooperation with educational organizations of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and proposed partnership in the area of double degree program implementation, according to which during the first 2 academic years students are to do their degree at the higher education institution in Kyrgyzstan and during the next 2 years at KNRTU.

Besides, the university delegates visited KNRTU remote campus in Kant and attended the final defense of bachelors getting degree in management and chemical technology. During the visit, Vice-Rectors were also discussing the issues of improving the quality of education in the field of chemical technology, as well as the refreshment of workforce at the remote campus.
