Recently, representatives of Yokogawa Electric CIS and Sakhalin Energy LLC, which have been KNRTU long term partners, visited our university. KNRTU students regularly undergo practical training at Sakhalin Energy LLC, and graduates become part of the company staff. Yokogawa Electric Corporation supplies the university with high-quality equipment, which is necessary to make KNRTU graduates competitive specialists.

“It is very important for us to hold regular working meetings with representatives of industrial enterprises and equipment suppliers, since they can help us to better organize the educational process and set the right accents while training competitive specialists for petrochemical industry,” says the Director of the Institute of Management, Automation and Information Rustam Nurgaliyev.

Sakhalin Energy LLC is one of the Yokogawa Electric CIS key partners and customers. Thus, many control systems of Sakhalin Energy are created with the use of Yokogawa technologies.

This year, our university has received from the company modern educational software which can be used for both automation specialists and technologists training. Such software can be useful not only for those studying automation, but also economics, logistics and management.
