UNN PROFESSORS HELD A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR COLLEAGUES FROM KNRTU

This year the grant support of the Potanin Foundation was received by the project of our university “Humanities Lecturers in Engineering Master's Degree: “Projects – Digitalization - Artificial Intelligence” triad professional development”, implemented under the guidance of Julia Ziyatdinova, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication, and focused on professional development of lecturers of this department, as well as the Department of Social Work, Psychology and Pedagogy and Department of Innovation in Chemical Engineering of KNRTU.

Within the framework of the project, a professional development program for KNRTU staff was prepared and implemented. Employees of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (UNN) Valeria Mariko, Associate Professor of the UNN Department of University Management and Innovations in Education, and Alexander Gorylev, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law, Deputy Head of the UNN International Cooperation Development Office, were involved in the development of the module of "Project Activities in Higher Education".

From September 18th to 20th, Valeria Mariko and Alexander Gorylev organized full-time classes on project-oriented education methods at KNRTU, where they demonstrated successful examples of project activities implemented at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. KNRTU representatives positively evaluated the work of our colleagues and the high quality of the classes. An agreement was reached to hold an open class with master's students at UNN with the participation of KNRTU lecturers, where examples of successful use of project methods in education will be demonstrated.

According to the participants, the involvement of UNN representatives in this educational project made a significant contribution to the expansion of cooperation between UNN and KNRTU.
