From January 29th to February 4th, representatives from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (UNN) visited KNRTU – Alexander Gorylev, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law and Valeria Mariko, Associate Professor of the Department of University Management and Innovation in Education.

The visit to our university became possible thanks to the grant of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan "Algarysh". Alexander Gorylev participated in the development and implementation of the module "Development of Universal Competencies of Engineering Students through Project-Innovation Activity". Two departments of KNRTU (Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication and the Department of Innovation in Chemical Engineering) held lectures and practical classes, as well as master classes with lecturers and individual consultations.

The course is aimed at more effective formation of universal competencies for students in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Through participation in project assignments aimed at intercultural interaction, students develop critical thinking, leadership and teamwork skills. In addition, the professional orientation of the projects contributes to the development of students' socio-professional self-development skills, interest and desire to work in engineering in the future.

During the working meeting of the invited guests with Professor Dilbar Sultanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KNRTU, Alexander Gorylev was awarded with a certificate of successful implementation of the educational program.
