UTM Mobility Carnival (UMC) 2024: Let’s Study Abroad started on May 26, 2024 at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Baru. More than 40 universities and 15 countries (Germany, Finland, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Russia, and etc.) are participating in the Mobility Carnival. The event’s key objective is to create a platform for representatives of universities, where everyone can share the most promising opportunities for further cooperation, and to offer academic mobility programs in relevant areas of training. All universities participating in the Carnival demonstrate their best projects and innovations in education to students and other educational organizations in 15-minute speeches.

KNRTU is represented at the event by Dilbar Sh. Sultanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. As part of the visit, Prof. Dilbar Sh. Sultanova attended a number of meetings with the university administration, representatives of international services and the Chemistry Department leadership. As Dilbar Sh. Sultanova notes, the presentation of our university was “dynamic and exciting” and attracted the attention of specialists from various departments.

Last year Rector of KNRTU Yury Kazakov visited Malaysia with a delegation of the representatives of higher education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and signed a Letter of Collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The University is engaged in strengthening international cooperation with scientific and educational centers in the Asia-Pacific region and plans joint projects, including under the grant program of the Republic of Tatarstan “Algarysh”.
