Participants of the KNRTU club “Leaders of Change”, such as Associate Professors of the Department of Medical Engineering Elvira Akhmetgalieva and Maria Lisanevich, as well as Yulia Timoshina, Professor of the Department of Plasma-Chemical Technologies of Nanomaterials and Coatings, visited the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, which is included in the first group of the special part of the “Priority 2030” Grant under the “Territorial and (or) Sectoral Leadership” track.

Members of the club “Leaders of Change” are currently participating in the project to form a strategy for the development of research activities of KNRTU, working on tasks to improve the processes of the scientific unit.

“Business trips of our young scientists to leading Russian universities will allow us to study organizational models of research activity implementation and best practices in this area,” commented Leysan Dogadina, Director of the University Development Program Management Office.

The colleagues visited the scientific and technological park of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University “Fabrika”, where Olga Moskalyuk, Head of the Laboratory of Polymer and Composite Materials SmartTextiles, familiarized the guests from KNRTU with the mechanisms of realization of scientific projects. Advanced technological equipment was presented to the participants of the meeting, test samples were studied, promising scientific directions were discussed. And at the meeting with Maxim Demin, Vice-Rector for Science, the peculiarities of the organization of scientific activities at the university were discussed.
