On September 13, KNRTU Rector Yury Kazakov held a meeting with Sergey Smirnov, General Director of LLC "Complex Insulation Systems" (Novokuibyshevsk).

The company, a major domestic manufacturer of a wide range of insulation materials, has been collaborating with the university for several years. In 2023, an agreement was signed with KNRTU’s Department of Plastics Technology (headed by Professor Oleg Stoyanov), and this year, the company and the department are implementing another joint project.

Sergey Smirnov emphasized the company’s interest in further expanding and deepening its cooperation with KNRTU. During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were discussed, including scientific and technical collaboration, the organization of internships and practical training at the company, and the development of joint career guidance projects.

The parties signed an agreement under which "Complex Insulation Systems" will fund the renovation and equipping of a classroom at the Department of Plastics Technology. Yury Kazakov presented Sergey Smirnov with a letter of appreciation from the university.
