Organized by the Volunteer Center of KNRTU the “Marathon of Kindness” took place at our university. Marathon of Kindness is one of the stages of the “Kind Tatarstan” award, in which our volunteers participate in the “Volunteer Center at higher education institution” nomination.

During five days, everyone could take part in the event. Within the framework of the campaign “Thank you for cleanliness”, volunteers gave small presents to the cleaners of our university, and on the “Day of the Elderly People” everyone could sign unique postcards, after which all warm wishes and kind words were sent to the nursing home “Milena”.

On “Animal Protection Day” volunteers prepared a photo area where you could take cool pictures and get information about pets and their care. They also held a fundraiser and organized a trip to the shelter “Lyuskin's House”. Representatives of the volunteer center donated everything they needed and enjoyed being around the animals of the shelter.

Additionally, our volunteers were able to talk to Veronika Kulueva, Senior Specialist of the Special Projects Sector of the Volunteering and Information Resource Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. Conducting the “Marathon of Kindness” and the results of the events were covered in the group of the Volunteer Center of KNRTU VKontakte.

“Marathon of Kindness is an incredible opportunity to give kindness to someone who needs it. It is inexpressible when you put a part of yourself into such events”, - Elvira Pirogova shared her impressions.
