Young fashion designers from different regions of our country gathered yesterday in the Kazan Kremlin to participate in the annual “Autumn Style” show hosted by the Department of Design of KNRTU. Talented students of our university took part in the fashion event and presented their clothing collections to the expert jury.

The jury rated the designers in five categories: “Fashion Theater”, “Ethno-Mix”, “Street Style”, “Young Fashion Designers” and “Metamorphosis”. In total, the audience of the show saw more than 40 collections of clothes, each of which consists of several independent images.

In addition to fashion design, other creative directions were presented at the contest. Young creators presented their artwork in the following categories: Ceramics, Graphic Style, Social Poster and Fashion Illustration.

“My dear, young geniuses, young designers, do not hesitate to express yourself. Besides, in order to reach heights in your profession, you need to study, read and expand your horizons,” Irina Kupryakhina, Chairman of the Jury, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, General Director of the sewing workshop ‘Irene’, addressed to the participants.

“The main purpose of our show is to give aspiring fashion designers an opportunity to present their work on the beautiful grounds of the Kazan Kremlin, as well as to get feedback from qualified experts who have been working in the industry for many years,” said Venera Khammatova, Chair of the Department of Design.
