Every year the Center for Standardization and Metrology “CSM Tatarstan”, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the republican contest “The Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” in the nomination “For Great Contribution to the Development of Quality Products and Services” holds a contest among graduates of higher education institutions.

This year, the winners and prize-winners of the sub-nomination “Best Diploma Thesis of Graduates of Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan” were six students from three universities of Kazan: KNRTU, KNRTU-KAI and KFU. Among them were students of the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies Aliya Mustafina, Ksenia Zharavina and Tatiana Soldatenkova.

The Contest is aimed at stimulating the creative activity of students in conducting research and improving work practice in the field of standardization, metrology, conformity assessment, technical regulation and quality management. The expert commission evaluated: the thesis content, disclosure of the topic, elaboration of normative documentation, relevance, possibility of practical application, the element of novelty.

“A huge amount of time and effort was invested in the Diplomas, a lot of work was done both in theory and in practice, and, undoubtedly, the recognition of our works as the best gives motivation to continue to develop further in their direction and conduct new scientific research,” said Aliya Mustafina.
