Lecturers of the Department of General Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis Technology of the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies visited the production site of the industrial partner of the Advanced Engineering School “Promkhimtech’ - Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant of PJSC Gazprom.

During the internship, the lecturers got acquainted with the advanced technologies of gas and gas condensate preparation and processing, as well as with the technology of gas purification from acidic impurities. Also, KNRTU representatives visited the liquid and gas-phase sulfur production unit and the motor fuel production facility.

Special attention was paid to the reforming, gasoline fuel hydrotreating and isomerization units, thanks to which they were able to study the technologies applied at the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant.
