KNRTU held a traditional meeting with international students enrolled in the first year of study. The new members of the friendly family of our university got acquainted with the issues they should pay attention to during their stay in Russia.

The meeting was organized by the Faculty of International Educational Programs, the Department of Youth Policy and Social Work of KNRTU and the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan. The invited guests of the event were Renat Valiullin, Head of the Executive Committee of the Council of the Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Dilara Damar, Acting Head of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was opened by Andrey Vasiliev, Dean of the Faculty of International Educational Programs. He reminded that such meetings are held annually at the university: the opportunity to meet with all newly enrolled international students, to hear their questions and requests are highly valued by the university administration, and the leadership of the republic also attaches great importance to the format of direct communication with international students.

KNRTU is working hard to ensure the integration of foreign students to study and live according to Russian norms, rules and customs. In this case the university administration is assisted by Nazar Atdayev, Specialist in Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty of International Educational Programs of KNRTU, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan - himself a former foreign student, now he is on a voluntary basis is carrying out a lot of explanatory and educational work among students, both in the format of personal meetings, and posting content in popular social networks.

The event was focused on compliance with migration legislation, organization of the educational process and accommodation of students. Each participant of the meeting received a colorful brochure describing the activities of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan.
