A three-day International Forum-Festival “Student Tourism 2024” was held at the Federal Territory “Sirius” in the city of Sochi, where the annual results of the program were summed up. The festival brought together participants from 5 countries and 86 delegations of universities from all federal districts of Russia.

Students of our university Dinara Kagirova (Institute of Innovation Management) and Rustem Salakhutdinov (Institute of Polymers) are media ambassadors of the program and promote it through social media and face-to-face presentations. The students are among the TOP-50 best Student Tourism Ambassadors. Thanks to this achievement they got the opportunity to become participants of the forum.

The result of the forum was a team projects defense to Artem Fomin, Head of the Department for International Youth Cooperation and Tourism of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Dinara presented a report on the issue of interaction with other countries, and Rustem talked about the system of points and rating within the framework of Student Tourism Ambassadorship.

“The forum-festival passed very quickly, however it left in my memory so many emotions and pleasant memories, which I will share with my community. New contacts that I gained at the forum will definitely allow me to implement the most significant project ideas to popularize student and youth tourism in the country. I will definitely use this knowledge in my work as an Ambassador, I will be careful in conducting project presentations at our university, interact more with the students who want to participate in the projects of Student Tourism and the audience in my social media”, said Dinara Kagirova.
