Students of the Institute of Automated Control Systems and Information Technologies of KNRTU visited the research and manufacturing company “VOLGA-AVTOMATIKA”.

The event was held within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the company and KNRTU.

VOLGA-AVTOMATIKA is a modern, dynamically developing company providing engineering in the field of automation of oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industry facilities and supply of equipment for the oil and gas market.

Ravil Khakimov, Head of the Project Department (graduate of KNRTU, 2013), made a presentation on the company's activities and projects implemented in recent years. A great interest was aroused by acquaintance with the work of the Design and Engineering Department, whose employees are engaged in the design of process control systems. It was especially pleasant to meet the KNRTU graduates of the past years at the workplaces - R. Orlov, graduate of 2022, D. Rafikov, graduate of 2019, A. Ivkin, graduate of 2018.

The students had a chance to get acquainted with the engineering company, visited a real production facility and discovered how their knowledge can be applied in practice. The company's employees, in turn, told them about all the opportunities that will open up for them after the graduation.

The meeting ended pleasantly with informal communication with Rafail I. Abdreev, General Director of the company. They discussed the possibility of internship in the company and further interaction between the Departments of the Institute of Automated Control Systems and Information Technologies and VOLGA-AVTOMATIKA.
