The XX International Martial Arts Spartakiad has concluded in Ufa – one of the largest multisport events in Russia in the field of mass sports. The event was held under the patronage of the Russian Union of Martial Arts and the International Association of Combat Sports "ICA". The goal of the competition is not only to promote a healthy lifestyle and patriotic education among children and adolescents but also to strengthen international friendship among the peoples of Russia and foreign countries.

Arseniy Kosoyev, First-year Bachelor’s Degree student of the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, won a silver medal in all-style karate in the up to 80 kg weight category.
