At the final meeting of the Academic Council of Kazan National Research Technological University in 2024, Prof. Vladimir I. Kurashov, Chair of the Department of Philosophy of Science and Social Work, Advisor to the Rectorate of KNRTU, and member of the Commission on the History of Chemistry of the Division of Chemistry and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences, delivered a scientific report. His presentation was titled "Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the History of Kazan National Research Technological University" and marked the beginning of events celebrating the 135th anniversary of chemical engineering education at our university.

Prof. Kurashov's speech - editor and compiler of the two-volume book “History of Kazan National Research Technological University” (its electronic version is available for KNRTU users on the official website of the university) - aroused great interest of colleagues.
