KNRTU has signed a cooperation agreement with the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan during the Federation’s reporting conference, which took place at the Volga State University. The event brought together government representatives, members of the sports community, and educational institutions.
Special attention was given to contributions to the development of volleyball and sports education. The agreement was signed by Mansur Karimov, Executive Director of the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan and Albina Shavaleeva, Vice Rector for Educational and Social Work of KNRTU.
“On one hand, this agreement places a great responsibility on the university’s administration toward the athletes. On the other hand, it inspires optimism and confidence that the number of students involved in sports will grow. Our volleyball teams could welcome new members, and the teams’ results could improve significantly. The support from the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan opens up new prospects for the university, including opportunities for sports achievements and career guidance work – such as collaboration between KNRTU and sports schools across the Republic of Tatarstan. We plan to maintain close communications with our new partner and look forward to expanding our horizons,” commented Albina Shavaleeva.
According to Farid Mukhametshin, the President of the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of similar agreements already signed with other universities demonstrate that such cooperation truly yields positive outcomes.
