KNRTU FACULTY HELD A MEETING WITH PUPILS FROM ULYANOVSK SCHOOLS

28.03.2025

On March 23rd, Ulyanovsk hosted the "Admissions Navigator" family education forum for 8th-11th grade pupils and their parents. KNRTU was represented by Alexey Gavrilov, Associate Professor of the Department of Vacuum Engineering for Electrophysical Installations, Maria Saifutdinova, Specialist in Educational and Methodological Work of the Institute of Polymers, and Galina Gadelshina, Associate Professor of the Department of Business Statistics and Economics.

The "Admissions Navigator" forum was held in Ulyanovsk for the first time. KNRTU traditionally enrolls a significant number of applicants from this city. The event attracted over 2,000 participants — pupils and their parents. The applicants got acquainted with representatives of universities and institutions of secondary vocational education of our country. They received up-to-date information about the 2025 admission process, attended career guidance workshops covering profession selection and recent Unified State Exam change, as well as completed career guidance testing.

“Every education fair gives prospective students a unique opportunity to compare universities in one place, analyze their options, and ultimately make an informed choice about their future profession and institution. For KNRTU, this forum served as an excellent platform to attract potential students while facilitating valuable knowledge exchange. Pupils showed particular interest in our university's educational programs, last year's admission scores, application procedures, and additional opportunities like the Military Training Center and the Faculty of Additional Education. In addition, there were a lot of questions about career opportunities after graduation,” shared Alexey Gavrilov, reflecting on the forum.
