On April 8, the grand opening of Khimgrad Technopolis' co-working space took place in the area between buildings B and C of KNRTU. This new creative hub for collaboration and innovation was established through joint efforts of the university administration, Khimgrad Technopolis, and its resident companies.

Khimgrad is a modern industrial park housing enterprises specializing in small-tonnage chemistry, polymer processing, nanotechnology, resource efficiency, and medical technologies. These companies manufacture unique products for the Russian market, develop innovative solutions, and implement cutting-edge technologies.

“KNRTU is our core partner university, and we're highly satisfied with this collaboration. This latest transformation of the university, achieved through our joint efforts, aims to enhance both the quality and comfort of the student learning experience. We would be delighted to welcome KNRTU graduates to our enterprises, which already employ over 10,000 professionals. I'd like to express my gratitude to the university administration and resident companies for creating this exceptional space in record time”, said Ayrat Gizzatullin, Director General of Khimgrad JSC.

The interior design concept for the space was developed by Roman Karpov and Lada Safiullina, students of the Institute of Light Industry, Fashion and Design of KNRTU. The coworking zone's establishment received support from Khimgrad Technopolis resident companies, including the “Incomsystem” Research-Engineering Center, Production and Technical Association “Medtechnika”, and “Synergy Technology” Manufacturing and Service Company.

“Launching spaces like this with our industry partners is special because it builds corporate loyalty in students. When future employers invest in students during their studies, and when these students use the co-working space, they develop genuine goodwill toward our companies”, said Maksim Tyupich, KNRTU Vice Rector for Administration and Maintenance.

We hope this coworking space will soon become a platform for new achievements and successes, as well as a hub for students – a place to build valuable connections and spark innovative ideas.
