14.04.2025

On April 9, 2025, a ceremonial signing of the cooperation agreement took place between the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov and Kazan National Research Technological University.

Our universities have established fruitful artistic collaborations. Among classical music enthusiasts, the “Musical Evenings at KNRTU” project has gained significant recognition, regularly featuring performances by conservatory students and professors. Kazan’s retirees and veterans, along with university students and staff, enjoy free access to masterpieces of Russian and world classical music performed at a professional level. Meanwhile, young conservatory students and instructors gain valuable concert experience through these events. The performance and audience experience holds a particular significance as KNRTU College. It was in this very hall that the signing ceremony took place, featuring artistic performances by students and faculty from both institutions.

“Within the walls of the KNRTU, in this remarkable hall, we found ourselves in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere”, remarked Vadim Dulat-Aleev, Rector of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov.

“Our universities have very different specializations, but we are united by our love for art and music”, commented Yury Kazakov, Rector of KNRTU, in an official Telegram channel post.

Symbolically, 2025 marks anniversaries for both institutions: 80 years for the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov and 135 years for the Kazan National Research Technological University.

Both universities are intended to expand their collaboration. The signed agreement formalizes these intentions, with plans including: joint concert programs and music education initiatives, cultural events for students and residents.
