Master’s Degree Students of the Advanced Engineering School of KNRTU studying in the program of “Technological Service of Gas Processing” successfully completed an internship at the RTSim Company. They studied the features of developing computer simulators for gas processing and treatment processes, visited the IT Park named after Bashir Rameev (where RTSIM is a resident), and met the team to learn more about the company’s operations.
RTSim – an industrial partner of the Advanced Engineering School "Promkhimtech" – which is a flagship in the development of computer simulators for the petrochemical industry.
"We gained new knowledge in the field of developing digital models of technological processes and saw training computer simulators in action—they allow us to practice skills of working with industrial units in near-real conditions," the students shared their impressions.
Over the course of a week, students of the Advanced Engineering School "Promkhimtech" studied the process of creating a computer simulator—from technical specifications to a fully functional model. Numerous training sessions were conducted using the “RTSIM.Practice” software, where each participant learned how to develop a simulator based on their assigned task.
“Actually, “RTSIM.Practice” isn’t new to us. At our Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies, we have the “Digital Technologist” club, headed by Elvira Garifullina, Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Technology of Petroleum and Gas Processing. So, we’ve already worked with RTSim simulators, and some of us have even participated in—and won competitions organized by the company,” the students explained.
