The All-Russian Forum "Family – The University’s Fourth Mission" has concluded at Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin. More than 200 university students from 36 regions participated in the event. KNRTU was represented by a fifth-year student of the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology Stepan Stankevich and his wife Darya Zakharova, a student of the Kazan State Agrarian University. The young people were interested in the forum program and decided to visit it together.

The forum was aimed at preserving and popularizing family values among young people, as well as enhancing the role of family in the life of society. The event was held as part of the national project "Family".

The program included workshops, trainings, business games and three sessions: “Young Family is the Present and Future of the State”, “Healthy Family is Healthy Russia”, “Family History is the History of Russia”.

"I really enjoyed the forum because it addressed demographic challenges and the importance of family as a whole. During the workshops, my wife and I learned how to resolve conflicts, preserve family history, plan a wedding, manage a household budget. We especially liked the approach to the organization of the official part: speeches by deputies and ministers were interspersed with creative performances by students. We also met amazing people from different regions and discussed the challenges young families face in an open dialogue," shared Stepan Stankevich.
