Last week, the “Saidash” Cultural Center hosted a long-awaited event for students—the KNRTU gala concert. This event was a part of the XIV Republican Festival of Student Creativity “Student Spring of the Republic of Tatarstan”. A packed hall, roaring applause, and, of course, performances by talented students—this is what the evening was all about.

The audience was treated to a concert program. The main theme of the performances was life in all its vibrant colors. For example, a student from the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies appeared as a comical butterfly with large wings—the kind that flutters in the stomach of someone in love but too shy to confess their feelings. The romantic atmosphere was enhanced by a performance from the Institute of Polymers, featuring live roses as props, which the performers also handed out to the audience.

The first award was presented by Aliya Perelygina, Deputy Sales Director of Nefis Cosmetics. She presented the “Best Female Role” award.

The winners in the "Concert Program" category were awarded by Dilbar Sultanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at KNRTU. She thanked everyone who attended the concert, saying that for her, “Student Spring” is always a special event. The 1st place was awarded to the Institute of Automated Control Systems and Information Technologies and the Institute of Innovation Management. The 2nd place was given to the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies and the Institute of Polymers. The Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology took the 3rd place.

The winners of the "Overall Standings" were announced by Albina Shavaleeva, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work. The Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnologies was crowned the winner of “Overall Standings” category. 2nd place was awarded to the Institute of Innovation Management, 3rd place was given to the Institute of Automated Control Systems and Information Technologies.
