The KNRTU team won the All-Russian football competition among girls’ student teams “All-Russian Division”. The tournament was held in Kazan at the stadium of the sports complex “Miras” in 7x7 format. In the crucial match KNRTU players met with the team of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.

Despite the final score of 1:0 the sporting competition was tense. The game was decided by the only goal of KNRTU player Yulia Novozhilova.

“Preparation for the summer season is in full swing. It was doubly pleasant to win this tournament and earn the right to participate in the All-Russian Finals among women students. To my mind, a big role was played by the will to victory of our team. I wish the girls to never give up. Let even a strong and dexterous opponent will not become an obstacle on the way to your goals and dreams!”, – said the KNRTU team coach Karina Smetankina.
