Alexander Stankevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Solid Chemicals Technology at KNRTU (second from left in the photo), became the winner of the Rosatom State Corporation Award in the field of science and innovation. He received the prestigious departmental award as part of a team of young scientists from the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Technical Physics named after Academician E. I. Zababakhin. The award ceremony took place in Nizhny Novgorod as part of the "Chain Reaction of Success" satellite event of the V Congress of Young Scientists.
Alexander Stankevich is a graduate of the Department of solid chemicals technology (Bachelor's degree in 2008, Master's degree in 2010).Doctor of Philosophy, leading researcher at RFNC — VNIITF (Russian Federal Nuclear Centre). By the way, along with Alexander Stankevich, two more of our graduates, Semyon Shakhmaev and Arsen Bakirov are part of the laureates' team.
The Rosatom Prize in Science and Innovation is awarded to young researchers for discoveries, advanced and breakthrough developments in the nuclear industry. The applications of the participants were evaluated by the relevant scientific and technical councils of the corporation. The winners were determined by Alexey Likhachev, General Director of Rosatom State Corporation, and the award was presented by Academician Alexander Sergeev, Scientific Director of the National Center for Physics and Mathematics.
When evaluating the work, the scientific and technical level of developments and technologies, their novelty, the importance of the subject and field of application, the scale of implementation of the developed samples and technologies, the degree of practical implementation of inventions, the potential for further application of the scientific results obtained, and competitiveness in the international market were taken into account.
