Machines and apparatuses of chemical production department professors as well as their collegues from Low-temperature and compressor equipment and technology department completed an internship at the sites of Kazanorgsintez. The event was an important step in strengthening the strategic partnership between the university and the enterprise aimed at training highly qualified personnel for the real sector of the economy.

During one week, Professor of the Machines and apparatuses of chemical production Department Eduard Osipov, associate professors Evgenia Starovoitova, Alexey Salin, Artem Ponikarov and Ainur Galeev, and Associate Professor of the second Department Almaz Saifetdinov got acquainted in detail with the work of key production facilities, repair shops and equipment maintenance. Special attention was paid to updating work programs on production practice.

We have seen exactly what competencies are required from mechanical engineers today, what real tasks and challenges they face. Such events broaden our horizons, open up new opportunities for joint research and development with industrial partners, and allow our students to receive education that meets the demands of the time," the internship participants share their impressions.
