KNRTU SHARES EXPERIENCE IN HYBRID MATERIALS IN KALININGRAD

Department of Physical and Colloidal Chemistry professors gave an intensive course for colleagues from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. Classes were held at the Institute of Medicine and Life Sciences of the BFU. As part of the additional professional program "Chemistry and Technology of hybrid materials. Creation and application".

The program was implemented with support of a grant given by the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation, in the second cycle of the Professional Development 2025 competition in the Institutional Experience category. This nomination is aimed at supporting projects for the development and transfer of accumulated experience to the professional community.

KNRTU experts introduced lectures and practical exercises covering a wide range of topics. Professor Yuri Galyametdinov gave lectures on current approaches of physical and colloidal chemistry for the tasks of molecular diagnostics and biomedicine. Acting Head of the Department Artem Bezrukov conducted classes on modern microfluidic devices in the "laboratory-on-a-chip" format. Associate Professor Aliya Galeeva introduced methods of applying digital technologies and artificial intelligence in materials science.

Offline format of classes in Kaliningrad was complemented by an online component organized on the KNRTU MOODLE educational platform. This made it possible to ensure the continuity of the educational process and access to methodological materials. The joint work was carried out within the framework of a consortium of universities participating in the National Project "New Materials and Chemistry".
