The Department of Process Automation and Control was established in 2005 as part of the Department of Process Automation of Information Technologies.

Academics

The Department runs Engineer Degree programs in “Automation of Technological Processes and Industries” for different fields of science and industry providing full-time education and extra-mural courses. There are 1 Doctor of Science, 1 Full Professor and 5 Ph.D, Associate Professors.

Alumni of the Department are responsible for design, mounting, maintenance and running systems of automation in Research Institutes and Engineering Departments on development of technical devices of automation at the existing plants of light, food and chemical industries of the Russian Federation.
