The Department was established in 2006. It is one of the three departments of this type at Russian Universities. The Department seeks to integrate scientific and educational potential of Kazan National Research Technological University for the purpose of innovative development of industry in the Republic of Tatarstan through solving the logistics problems of petrochemical enterprises.

Academics

The Department runs Specialist Degree program “Logistics and Supply Chain Management”. Students specialize in logistics of industrial enterprises, namely, chemical and petrochemical industry.

Real practice in industry in the course of studies guarantees good employment opportunities for the graduates of the Department.

Research

The synthesis of teaching and research is fundamental to the Department. The Professors are engaged in solving the problems of regional economy innovative development using neoinstitutional approach and methods of mathematical simulation.
