About

“Soyuzkhimpromproekt” Project Institute was established in 1953. The first Director of the Institute was Nikolay A. Kondratenko, who headed it for 30 years, transforming a branch of the Moscow Institute of the State Union Special Project Institute No.1 into an independent project institute of national importance – “Soyuzkhimpromproekt” Institute. Under his guidance, the Institute became the leading developer in a number of areas of specialized chemistry.

In accordance with Resolution No. 722 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 16, 1997, and Resolution No. 898 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated December 19, 1997, the institute was incorporated into KNRTU.
