Department of Innovation in Chemical Engineering was established on the March 12, 2012.
Development of Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Research, Production and Processing of Polymer Composites and Scientific School Commercialization of Innovative Science-Intensive Projects of Polymer Chemistry and Technology were realized in the period of 2012-2013.

Our department trains bachelors in Innovation Management, and since 2013 there is a master's program.

Firstly, only here students can study Marketing, Management and Taxation along with the Fundamentals of Polymer Chemistry and Electrical Engineering. So, the graduates are versatile professionals who are well versed in both the economic and production component of the innovative business in the chemical field.

Secondly, students have excellent opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, developing their own business plans and passing industrial and pre-graduation practice in the Ministry of Economics, Technopark and other objects of innovation infrastructure.

Besides, bachelors and masters actively participate in the international activities of KNRTU. For example, in the International Summer Business School by the University of Münster (Germany), International Youth Entrepreneurship "Global village on the move".
