According to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the all-Russian online graduation ceremony for students will be held on June 27. This year, the traditional format of events related to the completion of studies is canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

For graduation participants will enjoy an online intellectual quiz game, commencement addresses from executives of different universities and major companies, online lectures and various challenges. The culmination of the celebration will be an online concert, the main characters of which will be graduates from different parts of Russia. The event will be hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science, Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Russia Is a Country of Opportunities" and the Russian Rectors’ Union.

"I am sure that the new format of the all-Russian student graduation ceremony will become a new tradition, an annual summer holiday for students. It will not only unite universities, give an opportunity to congratulate graduates all over the country and tell the stories of the best students, but also will allow you to say words of gratitude to teachers and parents for their efforts. They deserve it," said Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
