From May 29 to June 1, the 15th anniversary International Salon of Security Equipment “Integrated Security,” organized by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, was held at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center in Kubinka. The event showcased state-of-the-art firefighting equipment and gear, as well as the full range of EMERCOM professions.

As a part of the exhibition exposition of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, visitors could see the educational cluster of the Republic, which trains mid and high-level personnel in the field of technological sphere and fire safety. On behalf of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan the exposition was presented by Nikolay Surzhko, Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Kadamov, Acting Head of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, and Robert Myasnikov, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The educational cluster included three educational institutions: KNRTU, Tetyushy State College of Civil Defense and Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev.

“At the stand of our university the information on various fields of training was presented: Fire Safety, Technosphere Safety and Information Security. KNRTU covers all levels of education in the training of personnel in the field of safety: Bachelor's degree, Specialist’s degree, Master's degree and Postgraduate studies”, commented Prof. Tatyana V. Burdikova, Chair of the Department of Pyrotechnic and Composite Materials Technology.

The exhibition stand was visited by Anton Gerasimov, Deputy Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation, as well as Radik Gismyatov, Project Director of the Project Office of Advanced Government Services of PJSC Rostelecom, who, incidentally, is a graduate of KNRTU and spoke with great warmth about our university.

According to the results of the event KNRTU was awarded a Diploma of the International Salon “Integrated Security - 2024”.
