KNRTU and Gazprom Pererabotka signed an agreement on mutual cooperation until 2027 as part of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. The agreement includes work in 12 areas, including joint scientific and practical conferences, organization of student internships at the company, modernization of educational programs and other areas that improve the quality of education.

“For us, the flagship projects are the development of the new basic department of KNRTU and Gazprom Pererabotka LLC, as well as the School of Chief Technologist, in which 55 students are already participating,” KNRTU Rector Yury Kazakov wrote in his Telegram channel.

In addition to KNRTU, the agreement was also signed by the rectors of other universities. These included: Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and Industrial University of Tyumen.

“The agreement reflects the main areas of work, allowing the potential of educational institutions to be used both to improve the qualifications of the company's employees and to recruit new staff,” Gazprom Pererabotka's press service commented on the signing.
