ecturers of the Institute of Innovation Management of KNRTU returned from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU), where the professional development program for lecturers on “Design of a Cross-Cultural Educational Ecosystem of Master's Degree Programs in the Context of Migration Processes” was launched. The course is conducted in accordance with the Vladimir Potanin Foundation Scholarship Program, principles and rules of professional development support.
KNRTU experts are implementing a program of professional development of an interdisciplinary team of lecturers on Master's Programs with the education of international students at USPTU.
Lecturers will acquire competencies related to understanding the ecosystem of education in the context of increasing migration flows, peculiarities of educational migration to the Russian Federation, management and design of Master's Degree Programs in Russian universities under the challenges of student migration. “Kazan National Research Technological University and Ufa State Petroleum Technical University are located in regions with positive dynamics of international migration. This increases the responsibility of our universities to educate international students,” says Prof. Raushaniya Zinurova, Director of the Institute of Innovation Management.
Professional development in the program will include three units of classes in a blended format: academic adaptation, socio-cultural adaptation, and civil adaptation of international students through integration into graduate disciplines.
The project contributes to the skills of the future - flexible lifelong learning. The project uses new methods of organizing professional development of teachers of partner universities, including transition to digital platforms and educational opportunities of social networks.
The education process is based on real cases of migration situation on the territory of the partner university in order to create a cross-cultural context of interaction between Russian regions. The project will result in the readiness of USPTU lecturers to work with foreign students.
