Faculty members of the IT Security Department of KNRTU completed an internship at Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology. During five busy days they got acquainted with the infrastructure and educational process of the IT Security Department, as well as visited various facilities, such as the Krasnoyarsk Dam, the Mission Control Center and Observatory.

In addition, colleagues learned about the ReshUCube Space Lab project, which is involved in observing the Earth's surface, monitoring radiation conditions, and conducting technology experiments. Faculty also discovered the importance of security of data transmission protocols, including IoT, which is directly related to information security.

At the end of the internship they took part in the conference “Reshetnev Readings”, where they shared their experience of training to counteract network attacks on the basis of KNRTU Cyberpolygon.

“Such trips enrich faculty members with up-to-date and relevant information, inspiring them to implement new teaching practices and materials for students' final papers,” Alina Kasimova, Deputy Chair of IT Security Department, shared her impressions.
